Wellness Treatment
Wellness Treatment
A person who decides to start yoga as part of healing will first have an initial examination. The objectives of this assessment are as follows:
Determine any health issues
Examine your habits and physical condition.
Describe the causes you're seeking counselling.
Make a plan of treatment.
Following the development of the treatment strategy during this initial consultation, the frequency of sessions is decided upon and appointments are made. The following elements will most likely be used in wellness sessions going forward:
Pranayama: The practitioner will lead the client through a series of breathing techniques, from invigorating breaths to balanced breaths.
Physical Positions (Asanas): The practitioner will show the patient how to perform suitable yoga poses that target specific problem areas. For instance, the "Legs Up the Wall" pose is employed in the treatment of insomnia and anxiety. The person is lying on their back with their legs up against a wall in this position.
When meditation is practised in conjunction with yoga postures, the emphasis is on relaxation and mindfulness.
Guided visualisation: The practitioner leads a guided visualisation to promote inner peace in an effort to soothe the body and mind.
Finding a means to incorporate yoga into daily life is a crucial component of any yoga practise. Instructions on how to apply what has been taught in wellness at home are given by the practitioner.
